More than one type of chemistry…

It’s no surprise Megan and Kase have such strong chemistry, as they coincidentally met in Chemistry class during their sophomore year at the University of Texas at Austin.

​

Side note: Both ended up with an A in the class, though Megan later confessed to secretly having a tutor after insisting she study with Kase before every test!

​

But, not so fast, because that chemistry almost fizzled during their first date. Megan’s sister (and Maid of Honor) Hannah had already made plans to visit the weekend of Kase’s fraternity party — and after exchanging just a sentence at the event, Megan ditched (and accidentally ignored a text from Kase that night). Months later, Megan came across the text to apologize and hoped for a second chance. They reunited on Sixth Street, and here we are seven years later!

After graduating, Kase and Megan moved to Houston and Dallas respectively to pursue their first jobs. Distance did not make Megan’s heart grow fonder, however. She quickly relocated to Houston and has been stuck to Kase’s side ever since. From the most mundane of activities to spontaneous adventures, Megan and Kase are a package deal. They (almost) never get tired of being together.

Megan and Kase’s wedding date — February 25, 2023 — is extremely meaningful, as it falls on the birthday of Megan’s late grandfather Dick “Papa Choo Choo” Orgel, who loved a celebration! The date miraculously fit into Robin and Billy’s extreme travel schedule and demanding schedules of the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Tigers, and the Dallas Cowboys, too. Now, to make it truly perfect, please add it to your calendars! The most important part of our wedding is to have you with us for this special, long-awaited celebration.
